Vitamin C Smoothie

Need a new go-to smoothie thats healthy and quick to make? No matter the weather, this fruity delight will keep you satisfied and thriving. I decided to add a little twist with some fresh ginger blended through, it’s ok, you really can’t taste it. A one inch piece, diced and mixed with the fruit adds a slight zing and an extra boost of nutrients.

If you don’t have kakadu plum or camu camu powders, simply omit them for the recipe. If you’re interest in getting and trying some, I got my kakadu plum powder from Kakadu Plum Co. My camu camu powder I got from Tropeaka. I highly recommend either of these powder if you’re interested in using natural sources of vitamin c instead of ascorbic acid capsules, which provides you with only a partial vitamin c, often times synthetic.

Just like any other smoothie, it’s a simple method. Place all of your ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Any blender will work, just as long as all of the fruit is broken down.
Enjoy this glorious beverage my friends, Sam x
