📋 Ingredient Notes & Substitutions
Here is what you need to make these delightful 5 ingredient strawberry crumble bars:
- Plain Flour – also known as all-purpose flour in the US.
- Rolled oats – use old-fashioned whole rolled oats, not quick oats or steel cut oats for your strawberry crumble bars.
- Granulated sugar – I love to use golden/raw sugar but regular white granulated sugar can also be used.
- Salted butter – if you use unsalted butter, I recommend you add a 1/4 tsp of fine salt or Kosher salt.
- Strawberry jam – store-bought or homemade can be used. You can also experiment with different flavors of fruit jam if you desire for your crumble bars.
