Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Rice Krispies, or Rice Bubbles
  • 1/3 cup almonds, roughly chopped
  • 1 Tbsp flax seed
  • 1/3 cup sultanas, or raisins
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 4 Tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 4 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup mini dark chocolate chips, or regular chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Blend Dry Ingredients: In a food processor, pulse oats, rice puffs, almonds, flax seeds, sultanas, and cinnamon until it turns into a fine crumb.
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Add almond butter, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla. Blend until the mixture holds together.
  • Mix in Chocolate Chips: Add chocolate chips and pulse to distribute evenly.
  • Shape the Balls: Scoop out approximately one tablespoon of the mixture. Gently roll it between your palms to form a ball. Place each ball onto a lined baking sheet or directly into your chosen storage container for convenience.

Notes

  • Store: In an air-tight container, refrigerated, for 1 week to 10 days.

  • Freeze & Thaw: Freeze bliss balls on a tray, then store them in a freezer-friendly container for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature for 30 minutes or in the fridge overnight.
