These light and Healthy Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats are made with a wholesome mix of unsweetened rice puff cereal, natural cocoa powder, and desiccated coconut.

3 cups Rice Krispies, or Rice Bubbles 1/4 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder 50 g unsalted butter 1/2 cup almond butter 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
Prepare Pan: Line an 8” x 8” square baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine rice puffs and cocoa powder. Set aside.
Melt Butter and Almond Butter: In a pot over low-medium heat, melt butter, almond butter, and maple syrup. Stir continuously until smooth.
Combine Wet and Dry: Pour the melted mixture over the rice puffs. Mix gently until well coated.
Press into Pan: Firmly press the mixture into the lined pan. Use a flat spatula to ensure it's compacted and even.
Chill: Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or overnight until set.
Slice: Cut into squares once firm. Enjoy!
Store: Keep in an airtight container, refrigerated, for up to 1 week – 10 days.
