Protein Almond Coffee Bliss Balls

  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 2 scoops approx. 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder*, or flavour you have on hand
  • 1 Tbsp ground coffee beans or instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 4 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 30 g dark chocolate melted for drizzling, optional


  1. Line a small tray with parchment paper and aside.
  2. In a high-speed food processor, add all ingredients except the chocolate.
  3. Blend on high until well combined and mixture sticks together, resembling a soft dough. Add a little more maple syrup if it’s too dry.
  4. Pick up approx. 1-2 tablespoons of mixture and roll into balls. Place on lined tray. NOTE: if you’re not drizzling over the chocolate, place the glass straight into a container.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate over the bliss balls.
  6. Place in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes or until chocolate has set.
  7. Serve and Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Store in an airtight container, refrigerated, for 1 week - 10 days.

*I use Bulk Nutrients Vanilla Protein Powder
