Walnut Chocolate Clusters! Delicious morsels of walnuts and peanut butter coated in rich melted dark chocolate. Enjoy these scrumptious bites anytime of day!
These delights are only 3 ingredients and created in a double boiler using one bowl. Melt down your chocolate with your peanut butter, stir both together until smooth and delicious. You can use either smooth or crunchy peanut butter, either will work for these clusters, I used crunchy!

Then scoop up about 1 tablespoon worth of chocolate coated walnuts and place a little morsel on your tray. Then set your clusters in your refrigerator until set.
How do you like to enjoy your little chocolate treats? For a mid morning snack or after dinner dessert? Enjoy this recipe friends!

Description

Delicious morsels of walnuts and peanut butter coated in rich melted dark chocolate. Enjoy these scrumptious bites anytime of day!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups (220g) dark chocolate chips, I use Organic Times Dark Chocolate Drops
  • 1 Tbsp crunchy or smooth peanut butter
  • 2 cups (300g) walnuts

Instructions

  1. Line a flat baking tray with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. Prepare a double boiler with a heat proof mixing bowl over simmering water.
  3. Add chocolate and peanut butter to the bowl and gently melt over a low-medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once chocolate is completely melted, turn off heat.
  5. Pour in the walnuts and mix until well coated in the chocolate.
  6. Using a teaspoon, spoon out a small bundle of walnuts, allowing the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl. Place it on the lined tray, ensuring they stay together in a cluster.
  7. Repeat method with remaining mixture. NOTE: If there is still some chocolate left over and no walnuts, add a little more almonds to use up the chocolate and create even more clusters!
  8. Place tray in the refrigerator until chocolate completely hardens, approx. 1-2 hours.
  9. Serve and Enjoy!
  10. Store clusters in an airtight container, refrigerated, for 1 week – 10 days.
