Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

  • 1½ cups almond milk or any dairy free milk of choice
  • 1 Tbsp coconut cream
  • 2 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar
  • 4 Tbsp chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp smooth peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp mini marshmallows
  • 1 Tbsp crushed peanuts
  1. In a medium sized saucepan over high heat, combine milk, coconut cream, cacao and sugar. Whisk well.
  2. Whisk mixture on high heat until steam begins to come off the surface.
  3. Once hot, stir through chocolate chips and whisk until completely melted through.
  4. Add peanut butter and whisk until well combined.
  5. When the mixture has just come to a boil, turn off the heat and let it sit until drinking temperature.
  6. Pour into mugs.
  7. Add marshmallows and sprinkle with crushed peanuts.
  8. Serve and Enjoy!
You can add more or less of any of the ingredients as you wish.
I used gluten free and vegan marshmallows for my hot chocolate, which you can find at your local health food store.
