Ever just created one of those smoothies out of the blue at a random time of day and it turns out perfect?! Well this is my result and let me tell you, it’s the most perfect, refreshing, tart yet sweet smoothie for those hot summer days. I refrigerated the smoothie until cold, or you can add ice and blend it in. Went outside, sat in the warm sunshine and sipped on this pretty little healthy smoothie.
My favourite fruit of the moment are raspberries! I must be honest, only a little over a year ago i would shy away from eating a fresh raspberry and even blueberries, yes i was a little weird like that. I was more of a strawberry kinda girl, still am. It’s because i had never touched a fresh raspberry by itself, i know, its absurd! That moment i tried my first fresh raspberry, it was love. If you love those sour lollies and love to snack on them, scrap those and feast on fresh raspberries! They are sour, fresh and oh so yummy, ah! i cannot get enough of them. Hence why i just love this smoothie.
How easy is this recipe?! You probably already have each of the ingredients in your fridge. I found my pomegranate juice from my local supermarket, Woolworths. Make sure you find pomegranate juice not from concentrate, if you want to receive the full benefits. I found this brand and love it. I filled this up with my trusty Cocobella Coconut Water, go and enjoy this nourishing, refreshing sweet smoothie!
- 1 cup coconut water
- 3 Tbsp pomegranate juice
- ½ cup fresh raspberries
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender.
- Blend on high until all broken up and smooth.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
