It’s the weekend you guys!! How exciting!! What are your plans??
This weekend I’ll be busy again in the kitchen and photographing, my favourite! I also have a family reunion on Sunday and they are always fun aren’t they? I’m not a fan of the small talk with distant relatives but what do ya do about that? Fake it till ya make it? Yeah, I’ll go with that 😉
This smoothie recipe is my go-to breakfast smoothie these days, until I get bored and have to switch it up again, are you the same? It’s digestive friendly thanks to the papaya and well, pretty much each ingredient in this delicious fresh smoothie! Pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, chia seeds and my favourite Cocobella Straight Up Coconut Water! I love adding coconut water to my smoothies. It adds that slight nutty flavour compared to just straight water.
I’ll let you in on a little secret. I do actually add a couple more ingredients into my morning smoothie that I have not listed in the recipe, only because I wasn’t sure if you guys would be into it. I add 2 raw eggs, yes raw eggs and raw apricot kernels. You seriously cannot taste the raw eggs, otherwise I wouldn’t do it! These extra ingredients are completely optional, I’m just letting you know exactly what I add to my smoothies.
Of course smoothies are so versatile that you can basically add anything you desire but it’s always good to follow along with a recipe and get an insight into what others are enjoying for their breakfast! I always love to add raspberries when i’m out of strawberries and visa versa! What are your favourite smoothie ingredients? Do you also have anything else you sneak into your smoothies?
Have a wonderful weekend ahead you guys!! I hope you have a fabulous time doing whatever you’re doing and consuming some really delicious foods, duh!! Enjoy!
