Golden Turmeric Milk

  • 2 cups almond milk or plant-based milk of choice
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 1½ tsp maple syrup
  1. Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend on high for 30 - 60 seconds until smooth and well combined.
  2. Pour mixture into a small-medium pot and put over a medium heat.
  3. Whisk whilst cooking to ensure turmeric is dissolved in the liquid.
  4. Taste test and sweeten extra with maple syrup to your liking.
  5. Heat milk for 2-3 minutes or until steam comes off the surface or until desired drinking temperature, not boiling.
  6. Pour into serving mugs and enjoy!
This recipe can be halved or doubled.
