Get your Fri-Yay on with some decadent chocolate oatmeal for breakfast!
Let me tell you a little secret… this was my first time trying chocolate oatmeal, I know, I can’t believe it either and why did I wait so long, more to the point! How about you? Have you tried your hand at oatmeal infused with chocolate?
What’s even better?! This chocolatey oatmeal is dairy free, woohoo!! You can also make it completely vegan by switching the honey for maple syrup, up to you! Who said eating vegan is difficult? Not here it ain’t!! (P.s. Organic Times Dark Chocolate Drops are vegan!).
I have some more good news for you, if you use Organic Time’s organic cocoa and chocolate drops, your oatmeal will be pretty much organic too, more yay’s!! Want more? We have covered so much of this chocolate oatmeal that I haven’t even touched on the raspberries, well you know how delicious they will be, chocolate + raspberries = one of the most utterly delicious combinations to have been discovered on planet earth, right?!
This chocolate raspberry oatmeal is not only deliciousness in a bowl but it’s so simple to make for all of you busy bee’s out there, you will have time to make this and it will keep you full for hours! Enjoy!
- In a small pot over high heat, combine oats, almond milk and cocoa, mix well. Bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to medium, add chocolate drops and cook for 5 minutes or until oats have fully absorbed the milk. Top up with extra milk if the oats are getting too dry. Continue to stir whilst they cook.
- Once cooked, pour into bowls and top with fresh raspberries and extra chocolate drops.
- If you like your oats on the runny side, just pour in a little more milk until desired consistency.
