It’s not Wednesday already is it?! Where is this week going? Along with all the other weeks?!
Let’s get your Wednesday off to a good start with raspberry cookie dough shakes filled with protein, how good does that sound?
These cute little shakes are super quick and easy to prep in the mornings so you have something delicious and nutritious to enjoy. The shakes are sweet, a little crunchy and they taste just like a milkshake.
Technically they aren’t milkshakes because they don’t contain any ice-cream but they sort of are milkshakes in a sense aren’t they? Instead, these protein shakes are filled with frozen raspberries, protein powder, oats, banana and my favourite part? the raw cacao nibs! They just add such a yummy crunch, just like chocolate chips but much better for you haha!
I also added a delicate sprinkle of chocolate crumbs which I conveniently had left over from these Matcha Bombe Popsicles I was making, yay! Always had chocolate crumbs, who could you go wrong with those. To top these off and make them extra special and beautiful, I added some small hibiscus blossoms. Although those aren’t edible (I don’t think they’re?) not to worry though, I didn’t actually eat them, just for the photography.
If you do have edible flowers growing in your garden though, you can definitely add a couple of those to give that special flare! I feel like I’m not talking about a couple of protein shakes now…
Enjoy my friends! Hope you’re all having a wonderful week!
