It’s mocktail Tuesday! Another kombucha recipe coming your way because I’m utterly obsessed with kombucha! Are you?
These gorgeous pink grapefruit sours are the perfect refreshing drink for everyone to enjoy any day of the week! If you’re feeling fancy you can add in a little vodka to make them into weekend cocktails! I’m opting for the non-alcoholic version to benefit from the full nutritional value of the kombucha, grapefruit and lime juice, delicious!
Fancy drinks don’t have to be difficult, time consuming or use overly expensive ingredients. These sours only use 3 ingredients – brilliant! You already know that I LOVEE Remedy Kombucha and I hope I have converted you too. I love their kombucha by itself but I also like to get creative with it, hence why these pink grapefruit sours were born!
To be honest with you, I never have or use grapefruit but when I was thinking of a new drink recipe to include kombucha, grapefruit just came to my mind and for good reason! I had no intention on picking up the pink variety of grapefruit. It wasn’t until I got home and started making these sours that I sliced one open and voila! It was pink! I was so happy because it matched with the raspberry kombucha and the pink flesh of the grapefruit was absolute perfection in the photographs. Who doesn’t love the colour pink?! Well my favourite colour is purple but equally, it’s pink!
I think I have also strayed away from grapefruit because my Mum never liked them and said they were way too sour, which influenced me to never have grapefruit. I don’t find they extremely sour but then again, I just had a small sip of the grapefruit juice, was actually quite tasty and fresh! Ok, I’m craving grapefruit now!!

- 1 large pink grapefruit, juiced
- 1 small lime, juiced
- Optional: extra 1 grapefruit for glass decoration
- 1-2 x 330ml bottles Remedy Kombucha in 'Raspberry Lemonade’
- Juice grapefruit and lime, divide the juice between desired amount of serving glasses. NOTE: juice more grapefruit and lime for more servings + more kombucha.
- Pour kombucha over fruit juices, evenly between each glass.
- Optional: Slice extra grapefruit into small wedges and place on the rim of each glass.
- Serve and enjoy!
