I’m backkk!!! I feel like I’ve said that a few times this year and thats because I have. These past couple of weeks I’ve taken a bit of time off. In that time a huge chunk of my family and I went on a 4 day cruise, it was great to escape reality for a while. Have you ever been on a cruise? No internet, just fun times, food and should I even mention the cocktails…
We cruised from Sydney, Australia, down to the city of Hobart in Tasmania where we spent 12 hours there. The cruise life was a great experience as it was my first ever cruise, I’m just thankful I didn’t get any sea sickness, hot tip: take ginger tablets if you’re sensitive to motion sickness.
Now I don’t usually consume any alcohol, besides the occasional Moscato when I’m out to dinner but besides that, never! So believe me when I say, on one of the cruise days when we were just at sea, I jumped on the fancy cocktail bandwagon and had a few and by a few I mean like 2-3 and I had a slight hangover the next day, oh my! From Pina Colada’s and getting caught in the rain (there was no actual rain, just sunshine!) to the.best.cocktail.ever. the ‘Toblerone’ (omg have you had one?!) to the old time classics, Midori Splice and Fruit Tingle, I had enough to last me for a while.
Ok, besides the cocktails (there are bars everywhere you go on the ship!) it was good fun to spend time with my family and have some R&R. I secretly loved not having access to the internet, it’s refreshing, sometimes it’s just want you need. But I’m back and I’m going to bom-bard you with delicious recipes over the next couple weeks!
Introducing this glorious, drool worthy and luxurious Iced Matcha Latte, can we take a moment in appreciation?! As I love being honest with you guys, this was my first time making and consuming a matcha latte, I’m a rebel without a cause right?! Safe to say I’ve been addicted ever since my first sip and that was just yesterday! The added abundant nutritional benefits of matcha just make this dairy free iced matcha latte the best thing since slice bread, was that statement slighty too dramatic?
Try it for yourself! I received my matcha powder from Matcha Tea Haus and for this latte I used their everyday blend. I hope you enjoy this delicious and refreshing iced matcha latte, it’s absolutely perfect for this Christmas Holiday Season!
